Immigration
Evaluations
Clinical evaluations for immigration are used to help immigration courts decide whether a person should remain in the United States. These clinical evaluations are conducted by a licensed mental health professional who conducts a thorough assessment of an individual’s mental health conditions and the impact deportation would have on them and their family.
Dr. Rachelle Morales is honored to be a part of your immigration journey. She understands how daunting the immigration process is and the stress it can cause for both individuals and families. She also understands that the difference between a good immigration evaluation and an excellent one can be life changing. Allow her to make the process easier for you by creating a detailed report based on her professional assessment of your mental health and special circumstances. The benefits of investing into such an evaluation can be monumental for your case.

EMDR THERAPY
If you have experienced a single or repeated traumatic event(s), you may often find yourself “stuck” in the past or reliving it repeatedly in the present time. This makes it difficult to feel safe and can lead to feeling constantly on edge or reactive to specific triggers. You may also see it impacting your relationships, career, day-to-day functioning, and physical health.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a type of psychotherapy that is used to help people resolve traumatic or upsetting memories. It is best known for treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); however, it has been expanded to include treatment for many other conditions,
such as anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and complex trauma from childhood abuse or neglect.
With EMDR, you can safely process the disturbing thoughts, feelings, and memories around the trauma(s) to free your brain from the repetitive cycle that keeps it from moving forward. If you are struggling with dissociation, intrusive memories, recurring nightmares, flashbacks, feeling constantly on edge, or
intense feelings such as anger or fear, then EMDR may be beneficial for you.
Dr. Morales is proud to be certified in EMDR therapy and offers a variety of specialized EMDR approaches that can be tailor-made to meet your needs.

EMDR Therapy

-
Three 2-hour sessions over the span of 3 weeks can have significant benefits to your immune system and overall mood that last at least a month long
-
Difficulties of hikes may range on individual preference
EMDR Nature-Based Therapy

EMDR Intensive Therapy
-
This type of therapy consists of prolonged EMDR sessions over the span of 1 to 3 days, depending on your needs, type of trauma, and the intensity of your symptoms.
-
The goal of the intensive is to significantly reduce your symptoms in order to help you regain balance in your life at a faster pace.
-
We focus on one-time traumatic events, such as car accidents, single sexual assault, sudden death or loss, or near death experiences.
-
Complex trauma is not recommended for this type of therapy, unless you have already begun processing the event or are seeing another therapist. Prior vetting required.
-
Full day intensives run about 8 hours. Several breaks are given with a 75 minute lunch break.
-
One day of an EMDR intensive is similar to almost 7 hours of therapy! That’s almost 2 months worth of therapy in one day!
Investment: $1500/day
